Preseason

If you’re like me you have been itching for some Football and with all the free agent signings/trades & the return of everybody’s “Golden Boy” of football (Tom Brady) its pretty much wide open (in most divisions). We are now at the start of the pre-season with the 1st game kicking off August 9th with the Titans over the Bills 21-18, it is official football is BACK!!
So start breaking out the ball caps, jerseys & get your team colors ready the 2009 football season is now upon us.

The Cool Kids Postponed

Just as the misctapes team eagerly anticipated chanting the hook to “I (Mickey) Rock” along with all the other hundred hipsters that would undoubtedly be at Clipse/The Cool Kids show at the Granada theater this Wednesday 8/12. Rumors of a cancellation began floating around. Then Monday afternoon came official confirmation from Granada management, no other info. or reason was given as to why the show was canceled. After a couple of twitter messages, Mr. Chuck Inglish himself one-half of The Cool Kids assured Dallas fans that they are coming…check back for updates

“Monday, the Clipse & The Cool Kids concert at Granada Theater (8/12) was cancelled. We tried our best to keep the show, but in the end, the final decision was made by the band’s booking agent”

Welcome,

                   Since the title pretty much says it all we (the folks here at MISC) will attempt to keep this as short and sweet as possible. Misctape is very obviously a blog, but more importantly and perhaps less obviously, a link between the people and information that you see/hear/view through a multitude of media on a daily basis. Unclear? So is the site and that’s because it’s still under construction; we’re working on it. Our intent is not just to bring you information on the latest in music, sports,  film, fashion, etc. but to connect you directly to the people involved in these various media. We bring you and the people/places/music/etc. together.

For example check out our information and direct comment from The Cool Kids on their Dallas 08/12/09 concert cancelation. We want to hear what you have to say, and we plan on having plenty for you to talk about. Can’t find it anywhere else? Check MISCtape.
