Last night I took part in a gamers’ favorite ritual: a midnight sale. I’ve been to other sales before but this was my 1st time for the actual Madden affair. I must say it was more tamed then I’d expected, not to say that there wasn’t TONS of trash talking before & even after some of the game competitions that were going on. But anyone who has ever played Madden will know that is just the norm. Every player thinks they’re better than the next guy. I also participated in the Madden tournament they where having at my local store.
The game is a welcome addition to the Madden family of games. The new fight for every yard feature is great for those of us who always think that on the fumble possession belongs to us or for those hard to reach 1st downs. The running game is an upgrade to the last two pass oriented Maddens & the new gang tackles feature is always a plus, along with the long anticipated wild cat formation. But with every year people will find things they love & hate about this game as for me all in all a great game.

Also in case you’re wondering I came in 2nd place. All that means is I need more practice.
