Lupe Fiasco Enemy of the State Mixtape Download

In anticipation of Lupe’s new album LASERS, set to release December 15 Lupe released his new mixtape “Enemy of the State” yesterday. The release is a one track cassette style mixtape (download after the break), it sets a good a example of where he is at creatively and lyrically. Personally I’m glad it dropped, however it’s just frustrating that we’re still waiting for LASERS, but I guess that will only make the new album that much better to enjoy. Lupe will also drop a mixtape on Christmas day titled “Friend of the People”

It seems Charles Hamilton may have been dropped from his label Interscope, still waiting on official word. If this is true, you gotta feel for the man especially after being struck in the face by his girlfriend earlier this year, and his failed beef with Soulja Boy. In the meanwhile Hamilton’s unreleased debut “This Perfect Life” has leaked hit the link after the break for a download.

Del The Funky Homosapien & Tame One’s Parallel Uni-Verses

Del and Tame‘s new project Parallel Uni-Verses debut album is less than a month away, and it couldn’t come any sooner. I’ve heard a few of Tame Ones’ tracks but I’m mainly a fan of Del, have been since his collaboration with the Gorillaz. Below is a video of their first single “Flashback”, I doubt this side project of Del’s will disappoint with him, and Tame on the mic, I also forgot to mention the album will be produced by Parallel Thought. You should definitely get a copy when it drops, check  out the cover art, tracklisting and a few mp3′s from Del and Tame One separately.

New Wale Track “Ice & Rain”

Many friends have been telling me to listen to Wale, and that I won’t be disappointed. The truth is his style is all his own, but there is just something about him that I have not been able to pinpoint that has held me back from fully enjoying what he brings. I mean I can listen to his tracks but just can’t fully appreciate them, that is until I heard “Ice & Rain”. The track is off his forthcoming LP Attention Deficit, now it could be the beat that has sold me on the track which was produced by Cool & Dre, or it could be the storytelling, I would like to say the latter of two is what has done it for me. Regardless, if this is what can be expected of his new album, I can see myself becoming an avid listener. Check out cover art, and track…yeah I can hear my friends now…I told you so!

Kid Koala The Slew:100% Download

For the past couple of years Kid Koala and friend Dynamite were assigned to score the soundtrack for a documentary only to have the film fall apart, not much info is known why the film was never completed. At least we finally get to hear what the DJ’s were working on for such a long time, and not only that but we’ll get to enjoy it live. The Slew tour is making a 9 city stop, the live show will include the ex-Wolfmother rhythm section alongside the DJ’s who will be performing over 6 turntables. Kid Koala has also decided to give out the album stating “we figured you’d have more fun at the shows if you had heard these first… feel free to pass it on to your friends. enjoy.” Check the tour dates and download the album.
