So here is the new Grizzly Bear song featuring Victoria Legrand (Beach House) which will be featured in the pre-teen OMG it’s “EDWARD” shiny-glittery vampire movie The Twilight Saga:(like it could possibly be mistaken for another “saga” with vampires and wolfs) Full moo………I mean New Moon. That is for another day, and I would apologize but who cares. The video was recorded in Chicago, and the audio is pretty decent. Will post CD quality track when available.
I know it was unbelieved news to me too that Mr. “Hip-hop just saved my life” Lupe Fiasco is on the soundtrack to the second movie in the Twilight movie saga. Lupe’s song Solar Midnite is apart of 4 bonus tracks you get when you pre-order the soundtrack on i-tunes. Apparently even Grizzly Bear (Slow Life) is set to appear on said soundtrack.
This is the new video for the latest single which was released a few weeks back, off the bands Veckatimest album. Looking at the video it’s pretty vague but seems to go with the theme of the song.
The second single from the band is released today, it will also include a version with Michael Mcdonald.

Yesterday was the Jelly NYC Pool Party at the Williamsburg Waterfront in Brooklyn, and one of the performers was Grizzly Bear. The group performed “Two Weeks” alongside Victoria Legrand from Beach House. Now supposedly some chaos ensued as Jay-Z and Beyonce showed up to watch Grizzly Bear play, the picture and video below also shows Jay-Z getting down to GB’s “Ready, Able” along .

Bears on Letterman
Hopefully by now, you’ve should have heard of Grizzly Bear, and if you haven’t do give them a listen. The band put on an amazing show this past June at the Granada Theater, the video is of the band performing “Ready, Able” off their latest album Veckatimest back in July. They had performed the prior month, but was not aired due to lack of time.
