Lupe Fiasco Enemy of the State Mixtape Download

In anticipation of Lupe’s new album LASERS, set to release December 15 Lupe released his new mixtape “Enemy of the State” yesterday. The release is a one track cassette style mixtape (download after the break), it sets a good a example of where he is at creatively and lyrically. Personally I’m glad it dropped, however it’s just frustrating that we’re still waiting for LASERS, but I guess that will only make the new album that much better to enjoy. Lupe will also drop a mixtape on Christmas day titled “Friend of the People”

I know it was unbelieved news to me too that Mr. “Hip-hop just saved my life” Lupe Fiasco is on the soundtrack to the second movie in the Twilight movie saga. Lupe’s song Solar Midnite is apart of 4 bonus tracks you get when you pre-order the soundtrack on i-tunes. Apparently even Grizzly Bear (Slow Life) is set to appear on said soundtrack.

Lupe Fiasco New Track Snippet Followed By “He Say, She Say”

With Lupe’s forthcoming album LASERS set to release December 15, he understands that many fans are eagerly anticipating the release. With that in mind he knows exactly how to tease his fans, he did so the other night while performing at Governors Island. Walking the stage he decides whether to play something new, the crowd then begins to chant “new shit” over and over Lupe gave them a small sample of a new track, which quickly comes to a halt followed by Lupe persuading the crowd to chant “old shit” he appeases them with “He Say, She Say”.

“There goes my Army, look for my Army, come join my Army!”

Jay-Z, Lupe, & Wale Tour

Well Wale’s Attention: Deficit has been pushed back 2 weeks from its original release date Oct. 20th. The reason being is he wants to do some press for the album release, and he supposed to go on tour with Jay-Z and Lupe, he let fans know via his twitter account. Now if I’m not mistaken I believe Wale and Lupe will join Jay-Z on his North America Blueprint 3 Tour, which begins Oct. 9th. This tour is gonna kill, too bad there is no Dallas date, hopefully more dates will be added or we’ll have to consider a road trip. Tour dates after the jump.
